Our History
New Year's Day 2020, Manuel Spear was lying on his closet floor as he was preparing to purge his closet to donate items to those in need. It was in this still moment that Project Twelve was born. The idea was to give back to the community with a different act of service each month. However, as is often the case, life got in the way of fully implementing Project Twelve, but it didn’t detour Manuel from continuing to give back to his community in various ways. Today Project Twelve is a fully recognized nonprofit that is dedicated to helping others. To think this all started with one person, a mound of clothes and a heart for service. Any moment can be the inception of something greater than ourselves.
